We are a book swapping service, our site — https://bookpo.st — allows you to swap books with readers.
What's that we hear you say? There are already other sites that do that? That's true, but we do things a little differently.
First of all we're free.
Secondly you swap book with directly other readers. Just the two of you. You send them one of your books, and they send you one of theirs. You pick first of course.
We have always found those "if you liked this then you'll like..." lists rather underwhelming. Lots of the same author you just brought. Like. Der.
What we are all really looking for is that next great unexpected book. The one we wouldn't have thought of picking for ourselves. But when a friend recommended it, we went with it, and are so glad we did.
That is what we want bookpo.st to be like.
If you and another member like, or have swapped the same author, we link your lists together. What you receive is a hand curated list. They are recommending their selection.
